F.A.Q.
What are The Mansoul Chronicles?
This new book series is an adaptation of John Bunyan’s lesser-known allegory, The Holy War. It has all the elements families loved from the Little Pilgrim books, with engaging adventure, beautiful illustrations, and deep truths instilled in every chapter.
What age is it written for?
Mansoul is aimed towards kids ages 6-12, though could be enjoyed by younger kids if they aren't afraid of dragons or battle scenes.
What is the story about?
The deceitful dragon Diabolus has rebelled against King Shaddai and convinces the town of Mansoul to betray their true king. Prince Emmanuel must now go to war to free his beloved creatures from the terrible tyrant's reign. But how will Emmanuel save them from the destruction their sin deserves?
How many books will be in this series?
The Mansoul Chronicles will be a trilogy of three books.
Book 2 will be released in 2026 (unless illustrator finishes sooner).
When will Part 2 be released?
Book 2 is will be released in 2026 (unless illustrator finishes sooner).
Are there pictures of God or Jesus?
This is a fictional yet allegorical tale, and there are no illustrations of God or Jesus. In Bunyan's allegory, the characters, King Shaddai represents God the Father and his son, Prince Emmanuel, symbolizes Jesus. The faces and bodies of these characters are shown throughout the story and are depicted in anthropomorphic illustrations (animals).
