FAQ about The Mansoul Chronicles
What are The Mansoul Chronicles?
This new book series is an adaptation of John Bunyan’s lesser-known allegory, The Holy War. It has all the elements families loved from the Little Pilgrim books, with engaging adventure, beautiful illustrations, and deep truths instilled in every chapter
What age is it written for?
Mansoul is aimed towards kids ages 6-12, though could be enjoyed by younger kids if they aren't afraid of dragons or battle scenes.
What is the story about?
The deceitful dragon Diabolus has rebelled against King Shaddai and convinces the town of Mansoul to betray their true king. Prince Emmanuel must now go to war to free his beloved creatures from the terrible tyrant's reign. But how will Emmanuel save them from the destruction their sin deserves?
Will there be an audiobook?

I pre-ordered during the promo. When will I receive the free audiobook and eBook?
For those who pre-ordered The Mansoul Chronicles during our Pre-Order Promo (September 4th - October 1st), we will email links to download the audiobook and eBook when they release. This will most likely be at the end of October.
How many books will be in this series?
The Mansoul Chronicles will be a trilogy of three books.
Book 1 is The Fall & Rise of Mansoul, releasing November 2024.
Are there pictures of God or Jesus?
This is a fictional yet allegorical tale, and there are no illustrations of God or Jesus. In Bunyan's allegory, the characters, King Shaddai represents God the Father and his son, Prince Emmanuel, symbolizes Jesus. The faces and bodies of these characters are shown throughout the story and are depicted in anthropomorphic illustrations (animals).

FAQ about Paradise Lost
What age is Paradise Lost for?
Paradise Lost is typically recommended for high school, college, and beyond.
It is a challenging work in English literature, yet as Dr. Leland Ryken shares:
"Paradise Lost is a demanding poem, but it is not inaccessible. Anyone who applies the tips presented in the foregoing introduction will find the poem easier to master than at first it seems. It is a poem that will repay all of the attention we give it."
Is there nudity in any of the Paradise Lost illustrations?
Several of Gustave Doré's vintage wood engraved illustrations depict Adam and Eve in their pre-covering state in Garden of Eden.
We have modified these illustrations by placing plants and other items to cover any clearly naked regions.
Is this edition adapted or modernized?
Our Paradise Lost: Legacy Edition is not adapted nor modernized.
Spelling has been lightly updated in cases where it would confuse modern readers (i.e. "angelick" to "angelic").
Instead, explanatory notes are included in the margins for allusions to Greek mythology and obscure words.
